The Bible and Us

So the bible arrived the other day (and I totally just reminded myself I had to leave feedback!). I've been reading it thoroughly and God willing, it will work. I'm impressed with the fact that the authors originally did this program to teach the mentally challenged to dress, feed and go to the bathroom on their own. When they realized that it worked so well for them, they thought why not a toddler? It looks like a great program that Donovan can follow. Kirk and I were talking about when we should do this. Wait until we move or just do it now? If he regresses when we move then we can just do it again (if it works that is). I think we'll be trying it in a couple weeks since Kirk will be out of town for a few days with interviews and whatnot.

I was brave (and impatient) the other day and shaved Donovan's head without the hubby around to distract the child and make him happy. It didn't go anywhere near as bad as I had planned it to. The news of a bath right after made him sit still long enough to do a decent job. I still don't trim near the ears with the scissors. Last time I made him look like a monk. He may have a buddah belly but he won't have the 'do.

A couple pictures for your viewing pleasure.......

So if I put a photo of Donovan on the web with his nekkid ass showing then I must be an equal opportunity emabaresser and show the world this chunk of delight.

When I saw this I said to myself, at least we'll know what he'll look like when gets his own pair. Kirk and I are blind w/o ours. The kid is doomed. Knowing his luck though, he'll have 20/20 vision. That's how it always works out.

DOODLEBOPS UNMASKED - ALL THREE

Please do not ask me to email photos out, I get entirely too many requests for them. These are the ones that I have at home, thanks to a couple of sources.

Customer Appreciation Day

Dear Crotchety Broad, While I love my job and think it's the easiest one in the world to have, I do not think dealing with your ass was easy. Here are some highlights from my fabulous time with you: When your cashier is ringing up your precious produce, putting the codes in (from memory thank you very much), don't start trash talking her. I didn't hear you ask if I needed help because, well, um, I was busy ringing your shit up. When I look up because I heard something , don't look at me and say, " HELLO??" all sarcastic and shit. I will squish your tomatos, avocados and bread. When I ask if you have coupons, that's generally a sign that I am not a mind reader, can't see in your purse and can't predict the future (contrary to what you may think dear customer). As a refresher, here's our coversation: Loverly Cashier: Did you have any coupons today ma'am? (and that ma'am part may or may not have been choked out of my throat) Crotchety Broa...

She Was Heartbroken

After reading about Kim and Reggie breaking up, the Monkey had a moment of silence to reflect on the love that is no longer there. And then she ate part of the page. Fiber! She needs fiber ya know! She wasn't as into the Saved By The Bell article like her favorite Auntie was (ahem) but she did kiss Zack Morris. No lie. Puckered right on up and layed one on him. He hasn't been the same since.
